SOHO WAITER’S RACE

The Soho Society’s 50th Anniversary Soho Fete Waiters Run was a lot of fun on Sunday. Thanks to Doppo Soho for hosting a great drinks party before and after the race.

Following on from a tradition started in Paris, hospitality workers weave their way through the streets of Soho in central London at top speed. The challenge is to carry a tray with a champagne bottle, a glass and an ashtray, in an 800 metre loop of the West End without dropping any items...not easy as it looks.

There was some great running from Ted Badger, who supplied the party at Doppo with some of his family's award-winning Cote Hill Cheese.
